I have recently been ghostwriting a healthy lifestyle/food book and it took up a lot more of my time than I expected. I worked a lot of hours these past two weeks, but the final draft is complete and (nearly) ready to go.

- Throw in the charcoal. we tried piling it up neatly but that really didn't work.
- Don't use too much paper to get it going, it's just going to get smokey and then smother the coals. If you need to use paper, pile it underneath the charcoals before trying to light it.
- If you're using lighter fluid, soak one or two coals, place them under a layer of charcoal and then light.
- Keep the lid open because nothing good will come of cover it up and letting it suffocate.
-The flames might disappear for a while, but keeping it going by circulating the air a while and ensuring the coals are hot underneath, should keep the heat building up.
- Wait about an hour, for all coals to go white before attempting to cook.

We also pulled out the fire pit this weekend, bought some giant marshmallows and
It was nice to finally relax. What did everyone do this weekend? Also, does anyone else have some charcoal bbq tips that could make our lives easier?
